Amputee Coalition Conference in San Antonio!

A record-breaking 1383 people attended the 2019 Amputee Coalition National Conference in San Antonio, Texas, between July 25-27. Among those were more than 50 members of the San Antonio Amputee Foundation. Many of our members were able to attend thanks to a generous scholarship donation from Dr. & Mrs. Karia and their family.

Over the three-day conference, amputees and their families attended educational seminars, workshops, gait, swim and mobility clinics, and had a chance to meet many new friends from around the world. For many, this was the first time they were in the company of so many other people who had the shared experience of limb loss or limb difference.
